I am a scholar and practitioner, focused on the intersections of research, policy, and practice related to humanitarianism, development, conflict, and peacebuilding. My specific areas of expertise concern the protection of civilians, including those who intervene in conflict such as aid workers and peacebuilders, and ways of protecting them, as well as ways of making interventions more effective and accountable.
